Poll: Turkey Day Beer
It’s been a while since the last poll I’ve had on the site and with Thanksgiving coming up in a couple of days, I figured this would be a good time to see what everyone is planning to drink along with their own gluttonous feasts.
I’ve got a few vintage Belgians (Chimay Reserve or Gouden Carolus Cuvee Van de Keizer) that may see some action before and during dinner. To accompany a bourbon pecan pie the wife is making for dessert, I was thinking of a bottle of Uinta Cockeyeed Cooper (bourbon barrel aged barley wine) that I’ve had a few months. I’m sure some other bottles may disappear from the basement along the way, but that’s the plan so far.
