In The Fridge III
It’s that time again. I made a trip to Total Wine yesterday and, even though I’ve been complaining about their dwindling selection as of late, I was pleasantly surprised to find a well stocked series of shelves. Here’s the damage.
- Our Special Ale 2006 (Anchor Brewing)
- Samichlaus Bier (Schloss Eggenberg)
- Red Tail Ale (Mendocino Brewing)
- Chimay Grand Reserve (Bières de Chimay)
- Abbey Pale Ale (Brouwerij Corsendonk)
- Abbey Brown Ale (Brouwerij Corsendonk)
- Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout (North Coast Brewing)
- Hobgoblin (Wychwood Brewery Co Ltd)
- Hopback Amber Ale (Tröegs Brewing Co)
- Rugged Trail Nut Brown Ale (Tröegs Brewing Co)
- Orval Trappist Ale (Brasserie d’Orval S.A.)
- Urbock 23° (Schloss Eggenberg)
- Blithering Idiot ( Weyerbacher Brewing Co.)
- Storm King Imperial Stout (Victory Brewing)
I got a couple of six packs of the Sierra Nevada seasonal with the mindset that I would attempt to cellar a small sampling for as long as I could. I’m not sure that our basement is ideal, nor am I sure that my patience will last that long, but we’re going to give it a shot. I’ve also packed away a few of the Samichlaus as well. We’ll see how this turns out.
