Barley Blog - Commentary on Quality Beer

The Session # 3 Is Almost Here

By BarleyBlog | May 2nd, 2007 | Notes

While my fruitless search for an English mild continues, here’s a reminder that The Session #3 is this Friday. If, like me, you need more information on the style, Jay at Brookston Beer Bulletin has what you need. With my current string of luck in finding a beer of this style I think that I might have to end up just using his guidelines to find an acceptable alternative.

I know exactly what you mean. This doesn’t appear to be a style that ANYONE in the States has taken a shine to. I’ll be trying one more time to find one to sample, and I’ll have Jay’s list in hand. I’ll be shocked if I can even find two.

Yup. I’m making a couple of runs this week to see if I can get lucky.
