A Taste for Brews That Go to Extremes
Eric Asimov writes for the NY Times on a not so new trend in craft beers — extreme brewing and more specifically extreme IPAs. It’s a well written piece giving the history of and current feelings toward extreme beers. Asimov and others have a tasting of 25 samples from the hoppier side of the spectrum yet only comment on the top 10 with Dogfish Head’s 90 Minute IPA coming in first.
