Brookston Beer Bulletin has a great 3 part photo piece on Russian River’s foray into brewing with violets and rose petals. I can’t wait to hear more on how it progresses in it’s various stages.

I’m worried that venturing into adding flowers into beer is going to make beer smell more like a flower garden. Personally, I’d be against adding anything that’s going to remind me of perfumy aroma’s. Perhaps that type of beer may be more preferable to women. But the jury is still out on this. I’d be curious to see what the reaction to this beer is.
