The Session #21: Your Favorite Beer

Don’t forget that today is the first Friday of November and that means it’s time for The Session. Our gracious host has picked a theme this month that has caused my head to explode no less than twice this week trying to figure out what my favorite beer is.

After taping my cranium back together for the second time, I came to the conclusion that it’s just damned impossible for me to select one singular beer that I’ve had through the years that stands out as my favorite.

Obviously, I have an affinity for darker brews with Dogfish Head’s World Wide Stout and North Coast’s Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout leading the way in that genre. Those two would certainly be in the top 5 of my favorites list. I’m also a big fan of Belgian style beer with Gouden Carolus’s Tripel and Grand Cru d’Or up there, as well as just about any Unibroue product.

But, I can’t bring myself to select just one.

I’ve tried all week.

Seriously.

I suck.
