“World’s Oldest Beer” Found in Shipwreck

Earlier this year a crew of divers discovered several bottles of champagne dating between 1800 and 1830 in the middle of the Baltic Sea. Well, it turns out that as the crew was wrapping up their salvage efforts, they unearthed a few bottles of beer — with active cultures still working. Would be pretty cool if they were able to reverse engineer the recipe for it. Read more here.
