Odell Brewing Kicks off Return of Red

Fort Collins, CO. – On January 2, 2012 Odell Brewing’s seasonal Red Ale will return following Isolation Ale. Dubbed a spring seasonal, this American-style red ale is much like springtime in the Rockies; slightly aggressive and surprisingly unpredictable.

In a review in the March 2010 issue of Modern Brewery Age, Red Ale was described as “an amazing beer, with a wonderful fresh hop character that bursts out of the glass, and explodes in the palate.”

The brew boasts a ruby hue, and a fruity hop flavor with just a hint of pine. Red Ale pairs well with spicy entrees or tangy goat cheese, a nod to the Rocky Mountain goat on the beer’s label.

The brewery will celebrate Red’s return with a Tap Room celebration on January 9th from 4 – 6 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy live music as well as samples of the brew paired with goat cheese. Red Ale will be available January through April within the brewery’s ten state distributor region.
