2016 Great American Beer Festival: Maryland and Virginia Winners
The winners’ ceremony of the 2016 Great American Beer Festival has just wrapped up. And with a total of 15 medals, Maryland (1) and Virginia (14) had a solid showing overall, but Washington D.C. unfortunately got blanked this year. Looking at the results, it’s not much of a surprise — especially if you live in the Commonwealth of Virginia — that it is the place to be for Vienna Lagers. Devils Backbone once again took home gold while Blue Mountain Brewing snagged the silver for a one-two finish. You can’t beat that.
Without further nonsense on my part, here are this year’s Maryland and Virginia winning breweries.
