Victory Brewing Company Introduces a Revolutionary New Series: Moving Parts – The Ever Evolving IPA

Press Release

DOWNINGTOWN, PA, June 17, 2014 – Victory Brewing Company (Victory) is pleased to announce its new IPA series, Moving Parts. A celebration of hops, malt, yeast and the brewing process for in-demand India pale ales, Moving Parts takes those fundamentals and tweaks each to create a fluid, ever-evolving, moving work of wonderfully drinkable art in a bottle. The Victory Brewmasters creatively adjust different ingredients and processes within the same IPA basic recipe to develop an endless array of flavor profiles. Through blending and varying the levels of different whole flower hop varieties, malts or yeasts and using slightly different emphasis in the fermentation and overall brewing process, a different, unique, delicious flavor is born with each batch of Moving Parts released.

Victory created Moving Parts in keeping with the creative spirit of craft brewing, which they have been a leader in for 18 years. Victory embraces the complexities of beer as an opportunity to experiment with flavor within the framework of a traditional formula. Moving Parts 01, will showcase American, English and Czech hop varieties as well as German malts with a little bit of sweetness to create a bright, malty body balanced against the unified impact of five different hops, ranging from citrus to pine-accented in their flavor and aroma qualities. Moving Parts will be sold in 22oz. bottles and on draft with an ABV of 7.1%.

Available at craft beer bars, bottle shops, beer distributors and major gourmet grocery stores including Whole Foods and Wegmans, throughout Victory’s 34 state distribution footprint, Moving Parts 01 suggested retail price for a 22 oz. bottle is approximately $4.99, but varies upon location. Use Victory’s Beerfinder to discover a nearby location, or download the free Victory Mobile app for Android or iPhone.

“Just as a single bold stroke or change of rhythm can take art in an exciting new direction, subtle recipe shifts in a craft beer can produce profound flavor changes. Some may feel such complexities are problematic to approach. We disagree. We have a penchant for prolific experimentation and Moving Parts embodies that creative spirit with gusto, resulting in a new end result every four months,” said Victory’s President and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski.
